This page describes what actually happens on Good Picks Guide today. It will be updated if that changes.

Browsing the public site

You do not need an account to read anything here. Our hosting provider receives the standard technical details every web request carries, such as the requested address, the browser user agent and the network address the request came from, and uses them to serve and protect the site.

Partner links

When you follow a commercial link, our server selects a partner offer and redirects you. That step reads the country our hosting provider has already resolved for the request. We do not store your network address, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not record your clicks in our own database.

External sites

Once you reach a merchant, that company's own privacy policy and tracking apply. We have no control over what they collect.

Administrator accounts

The private admin area uses Supabase Auth. Account email addresses and session cookies are handled there and are not part of the public site.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not build visitor profiles or store your network address ourselves.

Measurement

Analytics or advertising measurement tools may be enabled when configured. When one is active, it loads Google's tag on the public pages, may set its own cookies, and records page views plus an event when you click through to a merchant. That event carries the product, the kind of page you clicked from and its path — nothing that identifies you. When no measurement tool is configured, no such script is loaded and no cookie is set for visitors outside the admin area.
